It was so nice to start out the week with some Seminole Spirit! Especially since it was a super cold, sorta rainy day. So, where did we bring it...to the Orange Park mall! At least the train lady let the girls ride 2 for 1 since I had only 1 stamp left on my pass and no cash. That night Phil and I went to the Motsett's party to watch the game. It was super cold yet we still enjoyed their new outdoor bar and TV. At half time it looked like things were going down hill so we decided to stop paying for a babysitter and come home. Cuddled in blankets we saw the turn around in the 4th quarter to become National Champions! Awesome! Makes me reminisce to the 1999-2000 time when I was at school the last time they won. The rest of the week seems like a cold, blur...typical January! I know we went to story time and stayed inside a lot playing with the ball pit, hosted a play date with the Nixons & Freemans. We baked cookies and brought dinner to a friend who just had their first baby (man, those days seem like such the life <I know I didn't think so at the time> cuddling with the baby all day!) I did a few long runs- 6 miles on Wednesday and then 11.3 on Sunday. That Nike running app is pretty sweet. Phil went out for a guy's night to bid farewell to a friend who's moving. I had Chrissy come over that night to drink wine and tell me all about her engagement! I loved catching up with her and am thrilled for her and Tripp! Friday we had a MOPS leadership meeting. It's great getting back into the swing of things and planning the next month of MOPS. Such a great group of moms! We did pizza and PH, this time at the Suter's. Saturday we went to the Town Center so Phil could buy a few new suits, then had lunch at Pei Wei. We made friends with an FSU family sitting next to us (that's how it is). I've been speed reading our book club book all weekend for our meeting on Monday. All of you should read 5 Days at Memorial. Amazing! Saturday night we sorta invited ourselves over to a friend's house...at least we brought a lasagna. We probably stayed too late and definitely drank too much of their wine. Sunday I was sore from my long run the day before but at least I get to taper this week (which means no running all week...my typical training schedule for the week before a race). We went to mass, Phil got a hair cut. We took the boat out and went to my parents for burgers and dogs. It was a nice way to start/finish the week. I'm still wearing my FSU gear...all week, baby!
