It was sorta an emotional week. Marly graduated from pre-school! She will start kindergarten in the fall! I think I would have teared up more but Abby will be starting pre-school in the fall. So, I'm actually kina glad to have 2 children at the same school, something new for me! I think I was actually teary because our good friends, the Hinkles moved away. It was so sad seeing them go, especially from Marly's perspective. She's been saying all weekend how much she misses KK. She even wrote her a letter today. We went out for pizza after the graduation ceremony. It was really sweet. We watched Lola one day this week and the Hinkle girls while her parents packed up the car and did the final inspection out of their home. It was neat that we got to spend their last day with them. We went to story time and a picnic in the park. We had swim team every afternoon. I decided to move Marly up to the big rats. That should make the summer a bit easier for me! I think she's ready! We had a super fun Memorial Day weekend. Friday kicked it off with movie night at the Harmons. They set up their outdoor theater and we watched Star Wars. The kids set out their sleeping bags and ate candy and popcorn. It was neat! Saturday, Phil cooked us breakfast. The girls and I went on a run. Phil played a quick round of tennis. Then, we had a progressive boat day. We started at the Nixons and dropped the kids with the babysitters. We had chips and dips. Then came to our house and had gazpacho and shaken lemonade. Then we went to the Freemans and had wine and orzo dill salad. Last, we anchored out and the Thakkars served chicken kababs. We came back to the Nixons and had Tijuana Flats for a late dinner. Awesome day! Sunday we went to mass then had TCC breakfast with the Freemans. We spent the afternoon at FYC. SQ dropped off Owen and Alex, too. We had an awesome time with the paddleboards and kayaks! The kids loved it! Today we had a slow morning. Phil and I made eggs benedict (the Holandaise from scratch!). We headed up to TCC and spent the afternoon there. We had the Kerkezi boys again. The kids loved the water slide and face painting! Another super fun day! Two nights in a row, the whole house (except me) is asleep by 7:30pm!
