Spring break kina snuck up on me. I planned Disney too soon. So I had to look for fun things for us to do while both girls were out of school. My mom's Birthday was Monday. I needed a break after the weekend so I dropped the girls at Kids Park and took my mom to a nice lunch at Blue Fish. Perfect! The day got better and better with a nap then book club to discuss the Book of Mormon. Tuesday I hosted a huge St. Patty's Day playdate. We even did a gold nugget hunt for the kids and had green mimosas! We met Amanda at the park that afternoon. Wednesday was coffee club to discuss the upcoming city elections. We all ended up agreeing...we need more conservatives in cc! The girls had gymnastics but no religion that evening. We had a nice family dinner on the porch. The painters are finishing up our house. The Kerkezi boys came over for a bit. I snuck out and got an amazing post-natal massage from my doula. Thursday we met the Mitchells and some friends at the zoo. Friday we did the beach- of course it was foggy and chilly that morning. We swung by the Nixons for an afternoon play date. We got a sitter and took Voss to the Vogts potluck that night. I think that was the last time he comes out with us, babysitter time, Voss! Saturday morning I left the house at 7am and drove to Delray beach for my sorority sister, Sam's bachelorette party. My first day apart from Voss. I did some serious pumping! We started with brunch at Vic and Angelo's: bottomless bloody marys, then took a limo bar hopping to Ft. Lauderdale. Lots of amazing women in this crowd! Then we took a catamaran sunset boat cruise. I was planning to start the trek home after this but things got hairy. My ride back didn't happen for another 3 hours meaning I didn't get home until 4am this morning! Crazy, I know. I'd like to thank my little brother, Erik for chatting with me from Daytona to Jax to keep me awake! Today has surprisingly been okay so tomorrow may be rough. Phil made a great breakfast this morning. We had a MOPS photo fundraiser at the Freemans and went to lunch with the Stevensons. We did the contemporary mass again and then dinner at the Freemans- pizza out back. Perfect start to the week and closure to spring break!
