We're just in the groove of enjoying the spring. The weather was cool and rainy at the beginning of the week. For MOPS we had a wisdom panel of moms with older kids talking about why they made the decision to send their child to their school of choice- public, private and 2 home schooling moms. It was pretty interesting. We went to Rebounderz with Willow then out to lunch. Saw the mullet man again at the park on Tuesday afternoon. We rode bikes to take Ellie to school on Wednesday. I'm so proud of Marly riding her bike all the way there and back. We even stopped to play at the sketchy park on the way home. I snuck out and did a sans kids lunch with a bunch of mom friends at the Brick. That was so nice! Abigail's friend Alice came over to play on Thursday so her mom could do some packing. That was an awesome play date because Abby and her pal could play while I watched the Today's Show, folded clothes and didn't have to entertain anyone. I did some grilling this week for the first time in a while. Delicious stuff- especially the grassfed beef burgers from our local fare delivery. Ellie lost another tooth! This time at school! The tooth fairy brought a glittery dollar bill. We did a PH play date that afternoon with the Suters like old times. Coffee club was Friday. We stayed at Theresa's almost all day long. We did discuss One Spark for a bit. Phil played with John in a tennis tournament at San Jose this weekend so we spent most of our time there. It was awesome for me. I got to drink, hang out with Voss and watch tennis while the girls were in the kid zone at San Jose. Awesome! I think the guys had a good time, too. Even though today's loss was rough on them. We did sneak out last night and met some new friends, the Locharie's for a late dinner. We really did sneak out meaning the babysitter came after everyone was asleep and just sorta hung out til we came home. Two days of day drinking is not for me, though. This afternoon caught up with me. Tonight we did the contemporary mass then pizza at our house with the Applegates. It was a great way to spend a nice spring evening.
