This was the last week of River Rats. I was sorta sad. This turned out to be an awesome thing. I still giggle when I see Ellie swimming butterfly, it's just so cool. And Marly has also turned into a rockstar swimmer (following her big sister)! Owen was in a woodshop camp this week down the street so Suzanne and Alex came and hung out with us at the pool a few days this week. One day mom took us all out to lunch. It's been nice. Friday was Ellie's last swim meet. At the very end, she got her first medal! Awesome! (So cute, she even wore it to storytime afterwards). We brought dinner to some friends who just had babies. I found a great way to cheat (Terry's Kitchen) and even got us a meal, too! I brought the new ride in to have the Bluetooth program looked at since I'm having trouble getting my phone hooked up. The only success was popcorn, cookies and a car wash. A highlight of the week was a girls night with Emma. Great convos, fun food and lots of wine! We also had a playdate with our pal, Tabby. Our ac upstairs went out one afternoon, that was a rough night, but now it's nice and cold up there. Perfect timing since I just got my book club book from the library: Divergent. We've had a pretty low key weekend, lots of reading time (I even have a hiding place). Started Saturday morning water skiing, which is always a great beginning. We ended up hanging out with some new neighbors, moving in right across the river. Today we did mass and then a CEE picnic. Our Engaged Encounter weekend is coming up! We ended the day with a boat ride and evening swim. Not too shabby!
