I did get my 7.5-ish hours of sleep for the next few nights. I think. I don't have one of those bracelets that actually tracks it. I mean I went to bed around 11 and got out of bed around 7. Sure, lots of things happen between those times. There's lots of bed hopping. Random kids appear. There was a Buckman bridge nightmare in there at some point. But, I tried. It was one of those weeks where fun stuff just happened. I like that. We went to a breakfast play date with the Leens, Trexlers, Suters and Blaizes. That was pretty neat. Then, Tracy and I went to Joanne's for some MOPS star fabric. I got all the stuff to make some Halloween costumes. Wednesday was early release so the girls had golf. I took the littles in the pool and forgot their bathing suits. So, we just winged it. I think they loved that! Marly had soccer practice then I booked it with the older two to the kick off for religion class. It was a mass then meeting the teachers. Whew! What a day! I've been good about running each morning- just a 2-miler. I threw out a MOPS FB play date on Thursday. BLTs and lots of baby boys! Ballet was a bust for Abby. She fell asleep before class, which I thought was okay. But she woke up crabby and cried for 30min of class then fell asleep AGAIN! Blah. That night was girl scouts and Phil played tennis so that was a bit intense. Friday we did a ballet play date with Abby's friends, Alice and Katie Jo. It turned into an all day party! We had CEE that night. The Oehmanns did a fantastic enrichment. It was a good meeting. After putting the kids to bed, I went out for a GNO with some ole gal pals. We saw the new Bridget Jones movie. It was pretty corny but still good to get out. I didn't get home until 2am then had to monogram Birthday gifts for the next day. Suzanne, mom and I left early Saturday for the Girls Day Out. It was a really great day! We heard from a great chef showing us how to get in more veggies and a breast cancer survivor convincing us all to get a mammogram. I went to a session on the importance of sleep, which was so ironic since I was running on 3 hours! I know it's important but I'm just not good at sleeping. I mean, my motto is to sleep when I die! I wonder how many years this will take off my life? I'll keep trying to get some sleep, I guess. I also got a facial, massage, vision test, skin cancer test, spinal exam and heard a session on disease prevention. Plus, got some much needed QT with my mom and sister. It was perfect! I came home and 10 minutes later, a babysitter showed up. That was great! Phil and I met some friends out at the new brewery location downtown. It was so cool! Oompa band, brats and a rooftop bar. After, we had a nice dinner at TCC watching the harvest moon. So nice! This morning was mass, TCC bfast with the Hoggats then Sunday Funday at the Hollands. Another great week! I'm going to go ahead and get ready for bed. We'll see how this goes.
